Does Palestine Exist?

from from

Palestine (unlike Israel) has never been a country and has never legally existed, hence all the hoo-hah at the UN as the “Palestinians” seek statehood. If they already existed as a country they would not need to do this.

When Mark Twain visited the Holy Land in the 1860s, in Jerusalem he found 4,000 Christians, 7,000 Muslims and 40,000 Jews. Most of the Holy Land was barren and deserted at that time. As the Jews started to return and restore the land, poor Arabs from surrounding countries came to the Holy Land for work as a result of what the Jews were doing - so many of them arrived AFTER the Jews.

Palestine and “Palestinians” do not exist as a people group. They are an anti-Semitic sham. Let me explain... Arab refugees only began to call themselves “Palestinians” in 1967, 20 years AFTER the modern state of Israel was legitimately established and only because they had been defeated (yet again) in their attempt to destroy Israel militarily. They decided to change tactics to political warfare because they couldn't win on the ground (despite having overwhelming numbers and weapons compared to the Israelis - taking into account all the combined armies that tried to wipe the Jews off the map).

In fact even the Palestinians deny their own existence. The Dutch Newspaper Trouw published an article in the 1970s where Palestine Liberation Organisation executive committee member Zahir Muhsein said, “The Palestinian people do not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel and for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people. For tactical reasons, Jordan which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa. However the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will wait not even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.” So don't be fooled by the media into thinking that there is a “Palestinian” people.

The main reason they are located in Samaria and Judea is because Jordan (then named Transjordan) illegally annexed this land in 1950. So the territories are illegally occupied, but not the way the media portray it.

Another clue to their non-existence is that there is no Palestinian language or culture. This means they do not even qualify as a people group. So there you have it, Palestinians are just ordinary Arabs, indistinguishable from any other Arab group. There has never been a country called Palestine in the history of the world. In fact you have to go all the way back to the Old Testament to find the origin of the word. It is a Roman derivative of "Philistine." The Romans gave this name to the land of Israel when they were busy wiping out the Jews. The name was designed both to insult the Jews and to remove them from the Promised Land around AD70. Since that time the land of Israel has been ruled by Rome, Islamic and Christian crusaders, the Ottoman Empire and by the British after WWI, but it has never been ruled or controlled by “Palestinians”. The notion of a Palestinian nation is historical myth.

If you need further proof, just compare the “Palestinian” and Jordanian flags.

The hundreds of thousands of Arabs who left Israel in 1948 were not a result of Israeli aggression but rather at the behest of their own Arab leaders. There are many historical records proving that Israelis urged the Arabs to stay and live with them in peace (but the media conveniently forgets this). Tragically the Arabs chose to leave Israel and they have been "refugees" ever since. The Arabs were told to leave so the surrounding Arab nations could wipe out the Jews and then they could return (I guess they're stuck as refugees still waiting for the Arabs to wipe out the Jews).

Anyone who assisted the Arab nations in this planned genocide of the Jews are as guilty as the Nazis who also tried to wipe out the Jews. They now live under a terrible curse that can only be broken if they turn to Yeshua and repent. Israel is not to blame for the consequences of the Arab’s own attempts at Jewish genocide. Anyone who left Israel in 1948 is guilty of trying to wipe out the Jews, end of story. Israel has repeatedly tried to make peace with the Arab occupiers in Judea and Samaria and yet these Arabs continue to teach hatred to their children and continue to try and destroy Israel. The hardships they live under are a direct result of the curse of Gen 12:3 where God says He will curse all who curse Israel, it's their own fault. There are many Arabs living freely in Israel and even Arabs in the Israeli parliament and army so it's not Israel who's at fault here.

Israel has the full legal right as a sovereign nation to defend herself and administer and settle in her land which currently and legally goes all the way to the Jordan river. Christians have no business turning to secular sources for the answer to the question "Whose land is it?" For them, the Bible is the only legitimate authority on this matter. God never mentions let alone sets aside land for a Palestinian people or state, and yet He reaffirms his promise of the land belonging to Israel in quadruplicate in Psalm 105:8-11.

God also judges anyone who tries to set up a separate state for non-Jews in Israel (both Israel and the other nations involved in these “land for peace” negotiations are judged whenever they try to push this agenda - read the book Eye to Eye by William Koenig if you want more info on this).

God's final earthly judgment on mankind is about this very issue. Joel 3:1-2 "For behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land."

Israel has tried to live peaceably with the Arabs in Israel ever since Israel was refounded in 1948. The Arabs have only responded with warfare and hatred, which has locked them under a curse, hence their appalling living conditions, and yes as followers of Yeshua we are called to love them, pray for them and seek their welfare, but not at the expense of Israel, the country in which they live. Israel is being very non-aggressive by continuing to legally settle its land in Judea and Samaria. By breaking up the Arab areas, they are weakened and less able to mount attacks against Israel. Eventually this will swallow them into Israel proper the nation in which they already live. This will give them citizenship, a passport and rights. Something they don't have and which the world has never afforded them - because they are legally Israelis. Should they then attack their own country from within they will go to jail as the criminals they are.

The media fails to mention the several hundred thousand Jews (roughly the same number as the number of Arabs who left willingly in 1948) who were thrown out of their homes across the Arab world in 1948 and arrived in Israel as destitute refugees. These people have been fully assimilated into Israel and now live normal Israeli lives. How come the vast resources of the oil rich Arab world couldn't provide for the assimilation of their own muslim brothers and sisters, especially as they had paid the price to try and destroy Israel, surely the Arabs should have feted them? Oh no, we have a separate UN refugee organisation just for them (all other refugees world-wide are handled by one organisation but there is a special separate one for these Arabs). They receive so much aid per capita compared to the world's other refugees it's obscene, but they are legally denied citizenship of any country. This is not a problem made and exacerbated by Israel. It is the Arab nations and the UN which are responsible for this disaster. A conveniently festering sore as a friend of mine once said.

So to conclude, the Arabs were not forced out of Israel, they left willingly. Those in Judea and Samaria are not Palestinians, Palestine has never existed and neither has a Palestinian - ever. It is a fiction concocted to try and destroy Israel, nothing more, and nothing less. It is so poorly concocted that anyone looking objectively at the facts (e.g. the flags) can see it's a set up. We have to move on, Israel is Israel, end of story. Inhabitants of Israel who are in rebellion to the legal government of the country should be dealt with accordingly. Those who reap the consequences of curses they have put on themselves should not be used as excuses to blame legal and peaceful civil authority. It's time to support the good guys and deal with the bad. Don't buy the media lies on Israel’s right to occupy its own land.
